Velammal School of Nursing and Velammal College of Nursing is Started in the Year 2016.It’s a Non – Minority Self Financing College comes under the Auspicious of Velammal Educational Trust. It’s one of the Most Reputed Institution offering Nursing Education in Tamilnadu. The Institute Operates in a Building of over 81,000 Sq.Ft that is situated within a Sprawling 100 acre Campus at Anuppanadi –Madurai. It is affiliated to the “The Tamilndu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University”- Chennai and is recognized by the “Indian Nursing Council –Delhi, The Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council – Chennai and Government of India.

These dreams began to realize under much difficulty and many constraints. In the year 1986, our first school began in Mugappair, Chennai under a thatched roof with 183 children and 13 staff members. We are now a proud family of over 90,000 students and 8,500 staff members imparting education in various places across Tamil Nadu, including Chennai, Madurai, Theni, Karur and Shivagangai districts.
